The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has arrested a dozen men in connection with an undercover child sex sting.
Agents said the men targeted online who they thought were underage children.
“And while most adults online immediately stopped communicating with these investigators once they believed they were children, the 12 suspects arrested during the operation only became more interested," said Mark Perez of FDLE.
The sting netted now former Florida House of Representatives Clerk Michael Chmielewski plus former Florida State University lawyer Dayton “Michael” Cramer. Both were fired this week after their arrests for online child solicitation.
