Sally Bradshaw, Longtime GOP Consultant, Advisor To Jeb Bush, Leaves The GOP Over Donald Trump

Republican strategist and advisor Sally Bradshaw has left the party and registered as an NPA.
Associated Industries of Florida

Sally Bradshaw, a longtime Republican lobbyist and advisor to Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, has left the GOP and is now an independent.  CNN first broke the story.

In a written statement to CNN, Bradshaw says she had been considering the switch for months, and that she could not abide by "the hateful rhetoric of Donald Trump and his complete lack of principles and conservative philosophy.” She also told the cable network that, “too many Republicans are standing by and looking the other way.” And she adds she may vote for Hilary Clinton if the election is close.

Bradshaw authored the GOP’s so-called “autopsy” report following losses in the 2012 election cycle. That study warned the party was at risk of alienating a large swatch of voters and called on leaders to reach out to minorities and young voters.

Bradshaw makes her home in North Florida. And she’s opening a bookstore in Tallahassee. She and her husband also recently acquired a block of properties in the city’s All-Saints Network. The Tallahassee Democrat reports that project could involve the creation of residential units made of recycled shipping containers.
