A key Leon County Schools Administrator is heading to Tallahassee Community College. Assistant Superintendent Barbara Wills is TCC’s new Vice President of Administrative Services.

Wills’ new job is large. At TCC she will oversee multiple departments, like human resources, the police department, building and grounds, purchasing and finances, and the list goes on.

At Leon County Schools, Wills oversaw many of the same departments. In addition to her work as assistant superintendent of Leon County, Wills helped the Boys and Girls Club of Tallahassee stabilize its budget—a move that helped the organization stay in business.

In a statement, Leon Superintendent Jackie Pons praised Wills for her work with the district, and TCC President Jim Murdough says she’s a welcome addition to his team.
