Tallahassee, FL – Florida A&M University has named an outside panel to investigate a culture of hazing in the "Marching 100" band. Lynn Hatter reports the task force was formed following the death of one of the band's drum majors.

An independent panel will investigate what university president James Ammons calls "unauthorized and questionable" activities associated with the university's famed marching band.

"It will include the band, the staff, the students, its operations, its history, and the university."

Chairing the Task force will be former state Attorney General Bob Butterworth, and former state Department of Corrections head Walt McNeil.
