Tallahassee, Fl – A federal judge in Tallahassee has approved a consent decree requiring the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to establish numeric standards, or legal limits, for the amount of nutrients like phosphorous and nitrogen that will be allowed in Florida's water bodies. Gina Jordan tells us environmental groups filed a lawsuit compelling the federal government to take action.
