The field for City Commission seat three has already begun to take shape. So far, four candidates have filed to run. Those four are community advocate Talethia Edwards, teacher PJ Perez, political consultant Max Herrle and current Costco employee and former Pinellas County Commissioner Norm Roche.

The race is heating up in the wake of Mayor John Dailey’s decision not to run for re-election

Mayor John Dailey and Tallahassee Commissioner Dianne Williams-Cox have officially endorsed community organizer Talethia Edwards in her bid to be the city’s next commissioner.

Tallahassee City Commissioner Jeremy Matlow will run for mayor in 2026. That announcement comes the same day Mayor John Dailey announced he would not seek reelection.

This year’s recognitions were given to ten cities around America that are working to strengthen environmental sustainability.

Tallahassee Commissioners okayed the plan Wednesday despite a petition signed by thousands of city residents opposing the project.

Several local elected leaders and party officials cite continuity with the Biden administration and Harris' record as reasons for their endorsement.

The FEC says those mailers are "protected speech"
