That's despite Republicans having a million voter registration lead in the state and former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris in Florida polls by five points.

Harris accepted the Democratic presidential nomination Thursday, becoming the first woman of color to ever do so.

The phone bank effort took place at the Tally Cat Cafe.

All signs point to the Democratic Presidential nominee being Vice President Kamala Harris, which Florida Democrats hope will be a political boon for blue voters in the Sunshine State.
