Florida’s minimum wage is $8.56, meaning a person working full time would make just under $18,000 a year. Workers making that amount say it’s not a livable wage. Now, Floridians have the chance to decide whether to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. The proposal is on the November ballot.
