Governor Rick Scott is now the Vice Chairman of the Republican Governors Association.
For the remainder of 2017, Governor Scott will serve as the RGA’s Vice Chair. He’ll replace South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who resigned due to her new role as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
In a statement, the Florida Governor said he’s honored to help build upon the GOP’s momentum that led to the election of 33 Republican governors.
