  • Good morning,

My name is Olivia Piazza and I am the Child Health Educator at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. We are partnering with Safe Kids Worldwide and State Farm to host a car seat safety event on May 31st from 9am-1pm at the Dr. B.L. Perry Jr. Leon County Public Library.

We are offering FREE car seat safety education and installations by Certified Car Passenger Safety Technicians. We also have a limited number of car seats and booster seats available to families in need.

Nearly 65% of car seats are not properly installed. They must be properly installed in order to protect children the way they are intended and tested.

I have attached the flyer for the event and also the QR code where caregivers can sign up for an appointment.

Please feel free to share this information!

    Thanks so much.

  • Making Light Productions Tallahassee Children's Theatre presents The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales! Though the characters may be familiar, each of your favorite storybook fables is uproariously derailed in this adaptation of Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith's quintessential children's book of fractured fairy tales. Everything from "Chicken Little" to "The Gingerbread Man" gets a complete makeover. Fun music and witty narration accompany the likes of ineloquent giants, sassy barnyard animals, colossal cow pies, and enough stinky cheese to go around.
