Members Only Mimosa Mixer & Preview | 9 am – 10 am featuring your hour sneak peak, live entertainment by Hot Tamale and holiday refreshments by Uptown Cafe & Argonaut Coffee! No charge for Members entry. Not a member yet? This is the perfect time to join so you can support this local non-profit and enjoy the benefits associated with your membership. At 10 am, as the Mimosas and entertainment continues, the show will open to the public. For a small entry charge of $5 you can expect to be dazzled by a diverse assortment of original handmade ornaments, works of art, and crafts, all perfect for your holiday gift-giving. Start in the galleries to shop for hundreds of giftable items from your favorite local artists and then make your way through to LeMoyne’s gardens, where you will be welcomed by several artist booths!​

Bicentennial Bash Cocktail Party | Thursday, December 5, 5:30 pm – 8 pm Celebrate in style at LeMoyne Arts’ Bicentennial Bash Cocktail Party on Thursday, December 5, from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. Enjoy live music by “Quanta”, signature cocktails, and delectable food by Il Lusso. Don your most festive cocktail party attire and join us for an unforgettable evening. Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for non-members, including two drink tickets and hors d’oeuvres. Additional drink tickets are available for a $5 donation. Join us for an evening of resistance and remembrance. The Panhandle for Freedom and Justice for Palestine along with the Sunbird Relief Foundation for Palestine are hosting a fundraiser for Gaza. There will be guest speakers from Gaza who will talk about what it is like to live within closed walls and how the current war affects everyone who lives within these closed walls. There will be a free dinner for those in attendance, an auction, and the opportunity to "adopt" a family living in Gaza.

Doors open at 4:30 pm and will close at 4:55 pm out of courtesy for the guest speakers.

Join Tallahassee Downtown and Tallahassee Film Festival for Movies in the Park. On November 13th we will be showing Cool Runnings in Kleman Plaza for free. Come early around 6:30 PM to get set up, order food, and get ready for the movie to start around 7:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to set up on the grass. Attendees will be able to mobile order food onsite from participating downtown restaurants. This event wouldn't be possible without the support of the City of Tallahassee and the Tallahassee Film Festival!

BrickUniverse, the ultimate event for LEGO® fans of all ages is coming to Tallahassee, FL for the first time ever. Join thousands of fellow fans at the North Florida Fair for the ultimate LEGO® Fan experience and celebrate the endless possibilities of LEGO® bricks during the BrickUniverse 2025 Imagine Tour. 20th annual Daddy Daughter Dance, host Rotary Club of Tallahassee Northside, major sponsors Earl Bacon Agency and Bascom Communications. Community wide dance for dads and daughters of all ages. Proceeds from event go to projects supported by Rotary Club of Tallahassee Northside.

Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum in Carrabelle is presenting two special exhibits in the month of December. The focus of one exhibit will be on commemorating the Anniversary of Pearl Harbor and the focus of the other exhibit will be on exploring Christmas During the War. These two exhibits will open Tuesday, December 3, 2024 and be on display until Saturday, January 4, 2025. The museum is open every Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm and there is no charge for admission. (Closed Wednesday, December 25 and Wednesday, January 1.)

In honor of the Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum is presenting an exhibit commemorating this dark day in America’s history. World War II came home for the United States on December 7, 1941, when the naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan attacked the US Western Fleet at the American base Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. President Franklin D. Roosevelt called it “a date which will live in infamy”. Learn about those that planned the attack, the sole Japanese POW taken, and the heroic efforts by Doris Miller of the USS West Virginia to shoot down attacking Japanese planes. This attack resulted in the declaration of war with Japan and the US entering World War II. Luckily, the Pacific Fleet's aircraft carriers were at sea on that day, and escaped damage to fight later. "Remember Pearl Harbor" became the rallying cry of Americans as they enlisted by the thousands and built up the immense industrial effort needed to achieve victory in 1945.

The second special exhibit for this month will reflect on what Christmas was like during the war. Americans had to learn to do with less during the years they were fully engaged in fighting World War II. That had a significant impact on every aspect of American life including how Christmas was celebrated. Americans were encouraged to make their own toys and decorations, and commercially-made gifts emphasized materials that were not needed for war, including cloth, paper and wood. For example the popular Lionel Train toys were converted to cardboard and people learned how to cook and bake with corn syrup once sugar became scarce. Learn more about how rationing changed toys, food and even decorations during the war.
