The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra will present Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert featuring a screening of the complete film with composer John Williams’ iconic Oscar®-winning score performed live to the film. The concert will be led by conductor John Jesenksy on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27, 2024 at The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

Since the release of this first Star Wars movie over 45 years ago, the Star Wars saga has had a seismic impact on both cinema and culture, inspiring audiences around the world with its mythic storytelling, captivating characters, groundbreaking special effects and iconic musical scores composed by Williams. Fans will experience the scope and grandeur of this beloved film in a live symphonic concert experience.

A celebration of the history of Woodville and fund raiser for the Woodville Volunteer Fire Department with historical reenactors, performances, exhibits and a vendor and food fair.

This annual event celebrates the amazing history of North Florida and Woodville with historical demonstrations (blacksmithing, quilting, native drumming and dancing), theatrical performances by the Theater With A Mission troupe, music, and much more. It also serves as a fundraiser for the Woodville Volunteer Fire Department to support the purchase of safety equipment, vehicles and pay for the many expenses incurred protecting our citizens.

This year’s Festival is March 15, 2024, from 9:00 am – until 2:00 pm, at the J. Lewis Hall Fields and Rec. Park, Woodville, FL.

Join us Tuesday, November 19th to witness talented entrepreneurs pitch their innovative ideas to a panel of judges as they compete to take part in cash and in-kind prizes! The event will also include a cocktail hour and networking event for attendees and pitchers to connect with local leaders in the community.

Interested in pitching at Domi's third annual pitch event? Applications are now open for local entrepreneurs of any business to apply for a chance to pitch in front of a panel of judges. The top three finalists will take part in cash and in-kind prizes. This year, our application process is a bit different.
