Democrats Unsure About Charlie Crist

Former Republican Governor Charlie Crist is making waves in the Democratic Party with his recent endorsement of President Barack Obama and earning a speaking slot at the Democratic National Convention. Many think Crist is laying the groundwork to ultimately become a Democrat and seek public office.

The Republican Party of Florida has already launched attack ads saying people should know the real Charlie Crist.

“How Conservative Are you Charlie?”

“I’m about as Conservative as you can get” Says the former Governor in one RNC ad.

The Chairman of Florida’s Democratic Party, Rod Smith, says there is no doubt that Crist has a past but right now he doesn’t know what to think, because Crist currently isn’t a Democrat.

“But I would say that I think he would have to take some Desi Arnaz lessons, he’d have some splainin to do”

There is speculation that Crist is seeking another term as Governor. He dropped out of the Republican Party in a failed attempt to run as an independent against US Senator Marco Rubio.
