Governor Ron DeSantis may soon have a large pot of money to pull from in emergencies. Gina Jordan reports a similar proposal -- to create an emergency fund for the governor - was vetoed last year.

Staffing shortages are placing a strain on Florida’s prisons. As Valerie Crowder reports, state lawmakers are looking at investing more money in the state’s prison system.
