History at High Noon

Did you know that Florida has the third-largest military veteran population in the country and the Florida Division of Arts and Culture is working to preserve their stories? Julian Duncan of the Florida Division of Arts and Culture provides an overview of the Major John Leroy Haynes Florida Veterans’ History Program that launched in 2024. Duncan will discuss the process of collecting stories and talk about the importance of preserving our veterans’ military experiences for future generations.

The program and parking are free and open to the public.

Attendees will receive free admission to Mission San Luis after the program.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to ongoing construction, parking can be accessed via a TEMPORARY ENTRANCE at 2021 Mission Rd.
