Will Tallahassee keep growing at its present rate and how may those growth patterns change over time?  Our expert panel has the insights: Jay Revell, executive director of the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority; Roxanne Manning who heads the Tallahassee Community Redevelopment Agency; Kim Rivers, a principal of Inkridge, LLC, which owns the downtown Doubletree Hotel; and Will Butler of Real Estate InSync.

Tallahassee’s newly-independent Community Redevelopment Agency has named its new executive director.

Roxanne Manning took over as executive director of the CRA on the first day it operated as a standalone agency. Manning now reports directly to City Manager Anita Thompson. She says the change in hierarchy should help the CRA get more done.

“What this does is frees up the agency to be, I think, a little bit more responsive and more flexible. By reporting directly to the city manager, we’ll be able to get things accomplished more quickly," she said.
