Commissioner Rick Minor has secured another term on the Leon County Commission, continuing his representation of District 3.
Minor, first elected in 2018, has served on the commission for eight years. Before entering local government, he served as CEO of Second Harvest of the Big Bend and chief of staff in the Tallahassee mayor's office.
During his time in office, Minor has focused on economic development, public safety and environmental protection. He has also supported infrastructure improvements in northwest Leon County, including projects along North Monroe Street and Tharpe Street.
"We still have work to do on North Monroe these projects that we've gotten funding for we need to see those through and make sure that the projects proceed on track both for North Monroe and for Tharpe Street," Minor said.
Minor's victory over challenger C.B. Lorch gives him another opportunity to continue shaping county policies and decisions affecting residents
