Maclay Gardens State Park becomes an open-air concert hall this Sunday evening. It's time for the Fourteenth Moon Over Maclay Jazz Concert.
For many years, Stan Rosenthal has been the event's prime organizer. This year, he says the music will start at six with the Thursday Night Music Club, followed by FSU Jazz Professor Rodney Jordan and his quintet.
"These are world class musicians that are going to be playing right here. And that's the thing. You don't have to drive to New York City to see something like this. This is right in Tallahassee's back yard."
It's a yard that Rosenthal believes is among the most beautiful in the Southeast.
