The entire cast of "Henry IV - Part 1" gets some pre-dress rehearsal direction.

Cascades Park's Adderley Amphitheatre will resemble the old Globe Theater of Shakespeare's time this weekend.

In the runup to the Tenth Annual Southern Shakespeare Festival, the cast of Shakespeare's "Henry IV" was deep into dress rehearsals for the weekend's multiple performances.

Cast in the title role is Wil Johnson. He's an internationally famous actor. He was also in the Tallahassee performance of Midsummer Nights Dream almost 30 years ago and said it's great to be back.

"It feels absolutely wonderful because it's something I always wanted to happen. I spoke to Janet Hinkle last year via Facebook and because of that fateful conversation, here I am."

Janet Hinkle being a Southern Shakespeare board member. Another colorful cast member is Adam Segaller, a celebrated British-American actor and TV writer from Los Angeles. He plays Falstaff.

"Falstaff is called 'that villainous, abominable misleader of youth.' But really he's teaching Prince Henry a few lessons about being king."

The production also features fantastic swordplay. The tenth anniversary Southern Shakespeare Festival in the park runs Thursday through Sunday.
