It’s pride fest this weekend. But, after 15 years of celebrating at Kleman Plaza, the event moves this year to Cascades Park. Organizers say the move was needed to give the festival more space.

More than 100 vendors are expected, but Tallahassee Pridefest Chair, Stevie Marquez-Hall is especially excited about the performers.

“We’ve got a big headliner in Candy Muse from Ru Paul’s Drag Race. So, we’re super excited to get the festival going,” Marquez-Hall says. “We’ve got a great line-up in addition to our headliner… 14 other entertainers will be gracing the Cascade stage at the Adderley Amphitheater.”

The festival begins March 1 at 2.p.m. and will run until 7p.m., with events and shows planned throughout the day.
