The Tallahassee Ballet presents some romantic dance performances this weekend. The program - called "Intimate" - will feature some unique works created by members of the ballet company.

Tallahassee Ballet Artistic Director Meagan Helman said there will be a dozen different dance performances.

"We have 12 works that we have put together in the last several weeks that we'll be showing for the program."

The audience will be split into two sections so everyone can see all the performances. And in between, Tallahassee Ballet CEO Lauren Hernandez said there'll be an extended intermission for refreshments.

"There's going to be heavy o'er d'oeuvres from Growler Country as well as different snacks from Social Kitchens and then several different dessert options."

Hernandez added Friday evening's performance is already sold out, but there are still tickets for Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
