Tallahassee's Lemoyne Chain of Parks Art Festival is 25 years old this year. Tom Flanigan says the event is marking that anniversary with a performance by a very well-known band that's been around for more than a quarter-of-a-century.

Chain of Parks Festival Manager Powell Kreis said that band is Chicago-based Wilco.

"We didn't know it was a sure thing, but we've gotten in confirmed. The band is in and ready to get everyone dancing in Tallahassee. When I found out who the potential band was going to be, I got every excited and thought, 'Gosh, I hope I have enough energy after all day at the festival, but I got to make it happen; it's just too exciting!'"

Wilco will take the stage at the Adderley Amphitheater in Cascades Park the evening of April 26th after an opening performance by Waxahatchee.
