A double shooting Monday in Tallahassee left a man dead

Two men were found shot Monday evening in southwest Tallahassee

Tallahassee police are investigating a deadly shooting Monday evening on Notre Dame Street. That’s near Springhill Road between Lake Henrietta Park and the Jake Gaither Golf Course.

Police were called around 6:45 p.m. about a possible shooting. They found two adult males with gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to the hospital where one of them died. There is no word on the other man’s condition.

TPD says this is an active investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident, but did not speak with an officer on scene, to please call 850-891-4200. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Solvers at 850-574-TIPS.
