Florida State quarterback Luke Kromenhoek (14) hands off the football to running back Lawrance Toafili (9) during the second half of an NCAA college football game against Miami, Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, in Miami Gardens, Fla.

It’s homecoming weekend for Florida State. The homecoming parade is set for 2 p.m. Friday. Staging for floats and participants will be at the civic center.

The Seminoles will try to snap a six-game losing streak tomorrow. It’s the program’s longest slide since dropping eight straight games to open the 1974 season.

Coach Mike Norvell and FSU’s administration dismissed three members of the coaching staff last week with the Noles 1 and 9 on the season. Now the team will push for a homecoming win against Charleston Southern University, which has a 1 and 10 record. Kickoff is Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

The Seminoles need some positive energy going into the annual rivalry game against the Florida Gators after Thanksgiving.
