A matching grant fundraising campaign has meant a record dollar donation for Second Harvest of the Big Bend.

Called "Envision No Hunger," Tallahassee's Envision Credit Union, headed by President and CEO Darryl Worrell, matched community donations starting in 2019.

"Just that seed money planted in the community has grown to what's going to be $1 million," explaining that the company kicked in the final $300,000 to reach that total. That brought this reaction from Second Harvest's Monique Ellsworth:

"We're incredible thrilled at how successful the campaign has been year-over-year and we're just endlessly grateful to Envision Credit Union."

That gratitude took tangible form during Second Harvest's recent Hunger Summit as Envision received Legacy Partner recognition.
