Original story:

Severe storms are forecast in the Big Bend Monday night and Tuesday, so Leon County Superintendent Rocky Hanna says schools will be closed Tuesday. That includes district offices.

All activities after school Tuesday have also been canceled.

On Facebook Live, Hanna said the decision was made after consulting with the National Weather Service (NWS) and Leon County emergency managers.

He notes the NSW expects sustained winds to be over 30 mph as of 6 a.m. tomorrow with conditions worsening through midday. He says they will reassess after the storm passes.
