The app outage has caused the app to lose most of its functions.

Leon County Public Library is urging users to delete their library app. Library officials say the app has been unexpectedly discontinued and may no longer be accurate.

While some users may still be able to open their apps, officials say the outage has caused the loss of most functions—including the catalog search, library card barcode, and account information, such as holds. Any information still accessible on an app may no longer be accurate since the app no longer connects to the library’s servers.

Library card holders can still access their account information on the library website and are urged to bring a physical library card to check out. Officials say they’re not sure when or whether the app will be restored.
