The Tallahassee Urban League is grateful to its partners and supporters

The Tallahassee Urban League and its partners will celebrate Thanksgiving today (Tuesday) with food giveaways, prayers from local ministers, gospel music from local entertainers, and fun for children.

The Urban League wants to show thanks for its supporters and partners. So, they’re hosting a gathering today from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and providing cooked turkey dinners to 50 families. They’ll also give away food from Second Harvest starting at 10:30 a.m.

They’ll have other giveaways and information about health care, housing, and crime prevention.

The location is the Tallahassee Urban League office on Old Bainbridge Road. Please call 850-222-6111 to be added to the list of families.
