The Red Hills Small Farm Alliance holds its yearly celebration of the humble tomato this Sunday. Besides lots of tomato eating, the event will include music, fun and games.

One of the Alliance farmers is Louise Devine, who owns the Turkey Hill Farm and is pretty much in charge of the happening.

"The Tomato Feastival is our yearly event and fundraiser for our organization, which is the Red Hills Small Farm Alliance."

Devine said farmers will come from as far away as Marianna, Madison and Moultrie to show off their produce. There will be lots of tomato-based dishes, best-tomato competitions, music, and even an old-fashioned cake walk.

"You buy a ticket and walk to the music and somebody wins a cake."

The Tomato Feastival takes place this Sunday from 2 until 6 at Tallahassee's Goodwood Museum and Gardens.
