A woman was killed in a shooting Wednesday evening on Tallahassee’s south side.

Police say it happened inside a home in the 800 block of Cochran Drive just before 7 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her name has not been released.

Investigators say all involved parties have been identified, but the investigation is ongoing. They’re asking anyone with information about this case to call TPD at 850-891-4200 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 850-574-TIPS.

The shooting happened in a neighborhood near Jack McLean Jr. Park, where a teen was arrested Tuesday afternoon for having a firearm.
