Leon County and City of Tallahassee officials gather in front of the Children's Services Council headquarters to announce the summer activity expo set for April 22nd.

Leon County’s Children’s Services Council will be helping the area’s young people have a more enjoyable and productive summer this year. The agency is looking to link parents and their kids with a cafeteria of activity choices later this month. Tallahassee City Commissioner Diane Willams-Cox said the Council’s headquarters will connect kids and their parents with dozens of summer activity providers in less than 2 weeks.

“If you have children who need productive activities for the summer, April 22nd from 10 to 2 at 2002 Old St. Augustine Road is the place to be.”

Organizers say the event is open to everyone and the many activity offerings will be either low-cost or no cost at all. There will also be summer job opportunities for older kids. Find out more at: https://cscleon.org.
