Saturday afternoon update:

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare says an ongoing IT security threat continues to impact the hospital's operations.

In a statement the hospital says it is able to safely provide care for current patients using offline procedures. However, all non-emergency procedures are canceled through Monday and the hospital is accepting only level 1 trauma and heart attack EMS patients coming from the immediate area.

Friday afternoon update:

All non-emergency procedures are now canceled through Monday as Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare continues to work through an IT security threat that arose late Thursday night.

A statement from the hospital says the IT department is testing its online systems and bringing them back online "one-by-one."

Hospital staff says they are able to safely care for the patients currently in the hospital, and are following procedures that allow them to continue that care while their IT systems are offline.

More updates about the security threat can be found at TMH.ORG.

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare is postponing all non-emergency patient procedures as it deals with an IT security threat. The hospital is also diverting all but the most severe EMS patients and will only be accepting Level 1 traumas from the immediate area.

In a statement, TMH says an "IT security issue" that began late Thursday night is impacting some of the hospital's IT systems. As a precaution the hospital has taken its systems offline.

All non-emergency surgical and outpatient procedures are canceled and will be rescheduled. Those with other medical appointments today should expect to hear from their provider or doctor's office.
