Early voting kicks off in many North Florida Counties Monday. Leon County Supervisor of Elections, Mark Early, says Leon offers as many early voting days as the state allows.

Early voting in Leon opens Monday and runs through Sunday, November 6. Early voting in Bay County also begins Monday, but closes one day earlier—on Saturday, November 5.

Early voting generally means shorter lines, voting times on the weekends, and the ability to vote at any of your county's locations regardless of precinct.

In a press release, Early's office says vote-by-mail ballots can also be turned in at early voting sites in secure ballot drop boxes. For your vote to count, mail ballots must arrive at the election supervisor's office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Election Day is November 8.

Correction: An earlier version of this story said the last day for early voting in Bay County is Monday, November 5. The correct date is Saturday, November 5.
