Tallahassee police say they have found the car and driver involved in the fatal hit and run of a pedestrian.

TPD says a man was hit by a car late Friday night as he crossed Thomasville Road in midtown. He died at the hospital. Police spent the weekend looking for a silver sedan with front end damage.

TPD says the adult driver and vehicle involved in the collision were located Sunday.

No names have been released. Detectives say the investigation is ongoing, and the evidence will be turned over to the State Attorney’s Office to determine appropriate charges.
