Beware of a police operation in the 400 block of College Avenue. The road is blocked between Martin Luther King Blvd. and MaComb Street. The Tallahassee Police Department says officers are attempting to arrest a barricaded suspect and you should avoid this area for safety reasons.

Homes in the area have been evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

Commuters are urged to take alternate routes. TPD says more information will be provided as it becomes available.
