Thomasville Fire Rescue is touting its recent positive review from the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Council.

An inspection from the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Council found all Thomasville Fire Rescue stations are compliant with Georgia code. The annual inspection includes a review of facilities, equipment, and training practices.

Thomasville Fire Rescue Chief Tim Connell said in a statement “this inspection is about our commitment to serving the community to the best of our ability.”

He credits the fire team and the commitment of the city leadership for the positive outcome.

“We are grateful to our City leadership and Thomasville City Council for placing an indispensable priority on public safety for our community. They constantly provide us with the necessary support and resources to evolve the technology that allows us to serve our residents and protect our firefighters,” Connell said.
