Tallahassee's Hartsfield Elementary School will soon have a special space where parents and staff can meet away from the classroom bustle. The new Parent Resource Room will provide a quiet, comfortable place for parent-teacher meetings and other child-centered encounters. Leaders of the Community Foundation of North Florida and South City Foundation presented the symbolic check for $7,500 to school administrators, including Principal Rhonda Blackwell-Flanagan and school district leaders, such as Superintendent Rocky Hanna and School Board Member Rosanne Wood.
