Tallahassee Community College will launch a pilot program to help inmates follow through with getting a job after being released. TCC already has workforce development programs in five correctional institutions to help inmates develop job skills. Now, the college will launch a pilot to offer job services to inmates after they’re released. Those services can help them bolster their resume writing and interview skills. It also can help them get referrals for a job. Each person in the program will have a case manager who will check in on them to make sure they’re on track.
