#Walkthevote To Organize Voting 'Parades' In Tallahassee, Quincy This Saturday

Tallahassee and Quincy voters will gather this Saturday to submit their absentee ballots. It's part of a national campaign to encourage early voting in swing states.

#Walkthevote is putting on community 'voting parades' in swing states across the nation. It has gained support from celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Joan Jett. To participate on Saturday, Tallahassee residents can gather at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Quincy residents can gather at 8 South Adams Street at noon. After assembling, voters will walk to the ballot box and drop off their ballots.

Robbie Gaffney graduated from Florida State University with degrees in Digital Media Production and Creative Writing. Before working at WFSU, they recorded FSU’s basketball and baseball games for Seminole Productions as well as interned for the PBS Station in Largo, Florida.
