The next exhibit by Tallahassee's LeMoyne Arts will be a true community affair. It will tap the creativity of area residents in response to one of the most pressing issues of the day.
LeMoyne Executive Director Lori Carlson explained the theme of the upcoming virtual exhibit is "Justice Through Art."

"We're asking the at the submissions be from one of two topics: confronting and challenging racism and how do you envision equal justice for all?"

Carlson said the works can include visual and written word entries.

"Whether it's drawing or essays, it can be poetry; we've asked for visual art submissions to not exceed 30 by 40 inches."

The entries in the form of digital images should be emailed to LeMoyne Arts no later than the end of July. A selection committee will pick the most outstanding for a virtual gallery show later this summer.
