After a staff member at the Bond Community Health Center's main site tested positive for the coronavirus, it will be temporarily closing.

In a statement released by the Bond Community Health Center, officials say the staff person who tested positive hadn't been on-site this week. However, all staff will be tested.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we are temporarily closing to ensure that the proper testing, cleaning, and precautions are being followed in order to prevent spread," CEO Dr. Temple Robinson says.

The FAMU-Bond Testing Site will continue COVID-19 testing and telemedicine appointments will not be changed due to the temporary closure.
