Enhanced Online Connection For Tallahassee Restaurants Wooing Customers Amid Coronavirus Closures

Tom Flanigan

A Tallahassee marketing company has amped up an online tool that promotes area restaurants' take-out offerings. The resource is a one-stop shop for area eateries.

Dustin Rivest with the 223 Agency thought the Office of Economic Vitality's local restaurant listing lacked a certain pizazz.

"I went to the OEV site that they were pushing at the time 'Open4Takeout' and saw all the different places around me, but it didn't give me hours of operation or anything like that. It was kind of static."

So Rivest made it searchable by type of food, as well as giving restaurant operators the ability to list full menus and other useful information.

"It'll be a good tool to not only help the restaurants, but also the people and citizens of Tallahassee to find out what's available."

Rivest said the new site includes more than 400 area eateries.

"We're on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with the username 'TLH2Go' with the number 2 and the website is 'TLH2Go.com.'"

For some restaurants there's even an ordering function so the food will be ready for pickup when you get there.
