Chicago Cubs Tap David Ross As Next Manager

David Ross grew up in Tallahassee and played baseball at Florida High School.  He then went on to play for the University of Florida and Auburn University, before making it to the major leagues.

During his stint in the league he played for the 7 teams and won two World Series. In 2016 he ended his playing career in style with a Game 7 home run in the 2016 World Series, leading to the Chicago Cubs win.

Now that same team is inviting him back on the roster but this time as a manager replacing Joe Maddon whose been the Cubs manager since 2015.

Ross also played for the University of Florida and Auburn University.
