Longtime former head coach of the Florida State University baseball team Mike Martin will have his name enshrined in college baseball history.
Martin is set to be inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame. The Seminoles’ former skipper retired this past season, after his 40-year long career leading the team. He remains the winningest coach in college baseball with more than 2,000 wins.
Also among the eight inductees is former Florida A&M University outfielder Andre Dawson, who went on to a hall of fame career in the majors.
The induction ceremony will take place in November in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
