What was the location of the Sharing Tree creative space for kids on Tallahassee's Third Avenue is once again the organization's home.
Board Member Emily Pritchard was among those on hand for Sunday afternoon's grand re-opening.
"So you see that the space has been transformed and so has our mission," she remarked. "We're focusing on creative play and being able to nurture that throughout childhood into adulthood. So it's very exciting to see the space transformation and also the transformation among the kids who come in."
Pritchard said the Sharing Tree is about halfway to its goal of attracting major supporters to keep the doors open permanently.
"We're seeking 50 individuals or businesses to support us with $1,000 donations for capital investment right now to get us up and running in our new space," she said. "We'll also have family memberships offered later and have subscription-based free play. We are also enrolling for summer camp."
