Wilcox To Leave FSU For NCAA

Florida State University Athletics Director Stan Wilcox is leaving his post for a position with the NCAA He’ll be the organization’s executive vice president of regulatory affairs.

Wilcox has worked as FSU’s athletics director since 2013. During the past several years he’s overseen a number of major upgrades at Doak Campbell ‘stadium. He’s also seen significant success from the school’s athletes including a 2013 national football title. In a statement Wilcox thanks the university’s former and current presidents for their support during his tenure. He says he will rely on the experiences he’s gained as he moves forward in his new career.
