Starting Tuesday, Wakulla County residents who want to get rid of waste and debris related to Irma can now bring them to their local landfill.
The Wakulla County Landfill will accept green waste and debris, like trees, grass, leaves, seaweed, and vegetation. It will also accept food spoilage from residents.
Officials say this free service is for residents only, not businesses. Residents can do so Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the afternoon. The landfill will also be open Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p-m.
