Lyft Expands Its Ridesharing Business To Tallahassee

MGN Online

Another ridesharing service is coming to Tallahassee. Reports, on Thursday, Lyft will join Uber as a Capital City side option.

Lyft users will now be able to start using the app at 12 noon. The draw is it could be cheaper than a taxi fare.

And, if it’s their first ride in Tallahassee, there’s a current promotion that allows Lyft riders to get five dollars off, if they use the code: LYFTLOVE17.

Many Tallahassee officials including Mayor Andrew Gillum have expressed their excitement at Lyft’s expansion into the city.

Uber—another ridesharing app service—expanded its business into Tallahassee in September 2014.
