Seven Capital City residents have been chosen for the Seventh Connect Florida class for the state’s young leaders. Most come from the government, legal and non-profit sectors.
The new Connect Florida Statewide Leadership Institute class is part of Leadership Florida’s programs to groom the state’s next generation of movers and shakers. Tallahassee’s class members are Freddy Branham, the head of ECHO, H. French Brown with Hopping Green and Sams law firm, Ben Gibson from the Executive Office of the Governor, Evelyn Hernandez with the Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Association, Matt Leopold from Carlton Fields, G. C. Murray with the Florida Justice Association and Justin Thames from the Florida Institute of CPAs. They’ll spend the next year honing their leadership skills, performing community service and interacting with other leaders across Florida.
