Tallahassee residents will get a chance to voice their concerns next week when office seekers gather for the Candidates Environmental Forum.
The League of Women Voters and the Big Bend Environmental Forum are chief sponsors. Kim Ross, president of Rethink Energy Florida, says there will be much to discuss.
“This is a chance for the public to find out where candidates that are running in local elections here in Leon County, where they stand on environmental issues that impact Leon County.”
The forum will be held on Thursday, August 11. It begins with a meet-and-greet at 5:15 p.m. at City Hall.
